The FF machines are available in various versions:
Francis Francis machines have been in production since 1998 and several have been produced. The following applies to X1, X2, X3, X4 and X5. The X6 is always a Trio version. We do not have parts for the X7 to X9.
Aluminum boiler (1st generation): Classic (1999 - early 2004)
Aluminum boiler (1st generation): Classic (1999 - early 2004) - Aluminum interior - ESE serving and ground coffee. Look at the brew group, the whole area (except the piston ring) must be silver colored. Outer size of the filter support (ESE and ground) is 66 mm and is made without outlet but only had two holes from which the coffee was dispensed. The glasses of the lights are red (even if the machine is switched off). Upper lamp is red and is the on / off indicator. The bottom light illuminates red when heating up and goes out when the temp is reached.
Unfortunately there are no parts available for this. (except the pump)
Brass boiler (2nd generation): Classic (late 2003 - mid 2008)
Bronze / brass interior - ESE servings and ground coffee. Look at the brew group, the whole area (except the piston ring) must be colored in bronze. External dimension of the filter support (ESE and ground) is 71 mm and is equipped with a spout that is screwed on it (ground coffee filter support). Upper lamp is red and is the on / off indicator. The bottom light illuminates red when heating up and goes out when the temp is reached.
We still have a fairly wide range of parts for this: element, gaskets, filters, etc. The element unfortunately sometimes breaks down causing the earth leakage switch to fly out. Replacing is relatively easy to do yourself. Would you prefer to have it done? Contact us.
Brass boiler (3generation): (end 2007 - present)
Bronze / brass interior - Ground coffee. Look at the brew group, the whole area (except the piston ring) must be colored in brass. External dimension of the filter support (ESE and ground) is 71 mm and is equipped with a plastic spout that is screwed on (equivalent to the 2nd generation). Image icons under the switches. The glasses of the lights are clear when the machine is switched off. The upper light is for on / off indication. The bottom light remains clear until the machine is warm, it then turns green in combination with a beep.

TRIO - Brass boiler - Only for ESE servings.
The filter carrier has a black plastic inside where the ESE serves. This plastic piece protrudes through the filter support and there is a black plastic spout. The flange of the brewing group (chromed) has three icons on it that illustrate the three extraction processes of the TRIO (hence the name trio).
We have no specific parts available for this, except for the O-ring that closes the filter holder (G904)
