QuickMill 4100 Pippa Nera
SKU: QM4100NERAWhere we know most QuickMill machines from a thermoblock, this powerful, but compact, QuickMill Pippa is equipped with a brass boiler. The boiler has a capacity of no less than 0.45 liters, which creates a beautiful heat buffer, but the heating time remains limited (+/- 10 minutes). In addition, the machine is able to generate a more powerful steam output by placing a boiler. In combination with the operation with a rotary knob and the stainless steel steam pipe that is easy to move, this gives the cappuccino drinker a lot of ease of use.
The Pippa is equipped with the so-called ring group. This brewing group is located directly under the boiler, so that it is heated directly by the boiler itself. By choosing this brewing group, the E61 filters and possibly filter holders can be placed in this group, which gives a lot of choice in the filter trays to be used. This group can also be blind filtered/backflushed with a blind filter, which makes cleaning extra easy.
As expected, the Pippa is equipped with a vibration pump, just like its lighter sister with thermoblock. However, the desired pressure can be set with the Pippa using the adjustable pressure relief valve (OPV). The pump is also equipped with the QuickMill expansion vessel, making it a lot quieter than a standard vibration pump.
The Pippa Nera is made entirely of stainless steel, but the housing is largely finished in black. In combination with the walnut handles of the steam knob and filter holder, this gives a very nice and sleek look.
