Filter E61 IMS competition style 14/16 gram BIG BANG
SKU: T208IMS is the standard for baristas who participate at competition level. You can now also place this filter in your filterholder at home. The surface is extremely smooth and the holes are perfectly distributed. Improved water and pressure distribution so that you get an even better extraction. Fits all E61 filterholders, but also, for example, the filterholders from Gaggia, Ranclio, Bezzera and others.
The Big Bang line has been specially developed to bring out the sweet notes in coffee. The extraction is very uniform and the special thing is that the distance between the holes becomes smaller as you get closer to the center of the filter. In addition, the underside is completely flat. This together increases the sweetness and reduces the acidity. The Big Bang filters are also perfect for more traditional roasts and blends, as they make the cup very balanced. We do not recommend using the BIG BANG filters with coffees where the emphasis should be on the 'acidity', because they sweeten the coffee and therefore change the desired properties. (For these coffees it is better to use the Ridgeless version)
This version of the IMS filter is ridgeless, i.e. say that there is no edge in the container and the bottom is flat.
