The Carola takes up very little space on the counter and is designed for the pure espresso drinker, because it does not have a steam pipe! The single boiler of 0.75 liters heats up quickly and stays nice and warm due to the boiler insulation.
The temperature is controlled with PID (electronic temperature control) that can easily be set to the desired temperature. The PID screen also works as a shot timer during the brewing of the espresso, so that you can perfectly control the extraction time. T
he Carola is equipped with the famous E61 brewing group. This brewing group is an invention from 1961 by Faema, which is still the standard for all leading manufacturers to this day. The robust brass group (1.8kg!) ensures fantastic heat stability, essential for a good espresso! In addition, the mechanical pre-infusion ensures a beautiful pressure build-up during the brewing of the espresso.
The vibration pump can be adjusted by means of the adjustable pressure relief valve (OPV) and is equipped with the QuickMill expansion vessel, which makes it a lot quieter than a standard vibration pump.
